Don ( or Jug as many folks call him ) Has been in movies with Roy Rogers , Gene Autry, Jock Mahoney, Charles Starrett and Smiley Burnett to name a few and was the last boy to play the cowboy Red Ryder little indian side kick Little Beaver in the late 1940s & early 1950s movies. Don has also trained many animals for the movies like Shadowfax for lord of the rings.
