The sheriff and his posse are tracking a ruthless and vicious killer, Matt Pierce. The sheriff declines Vint’s offer of help but asks him to look in on an old friend, Melany. On arrival at the ranch he finds Melany and her paralysed husband, Jim. Melany blames herself for Jim’s condition in that whilst he was away she went to a dance which resulted in Jim being shot and paralysed on his return. Pierce arrives at the Melany’s ranch and holds Vint and Melanie hostage. An exciting conclusion plays out.
