I was just a child when many of these old westerns were on t.v., and they surely bring back a lot of memories of the days sitting around that old eight inch t.v. screen … the round one … staring at the Indian’s head just waiting for the viewing to start. Saturday mornings were always my favorite … sitting around with friends watching gems like Kit
Carson, Roy Rogers, Gene and Hoppy and a host of others. The world has certainly changed since the early fifties and some of the changes aren’t the nicest. However, it’s sure nice to get away, so to speak, with old, familiar “friends” enacting those great adventures that kept us kids glued to that early t.v. set. Thank you so much for allowing old folk like myself to “relive” some of my favorite memories.
