Sometime back I asked a favor of you to find and post a childhood favorite of mine: Tomahawk. You did and I was very appreciative of that favor. It brought back fond memories of seeing my first movie on my own as an 8 year old at the old Crystal Theater in Chicago.
Recently I came across an old recording of a Burl Ives tune, Blue Tail Fly. I believe it was part of a movie soundtrack, which starred Fred MacMurray, named Smoky. It was in the theaters in 1946 or 47. I was wondering (hoping) if you might be able to grant me another favor and perhaps locate and upload this movie for me and others to enjoy?
I, for one, as well as the majority of your website fans, I’m sure, are very appreciative of your tireless and unpaid efforts to accomodate us afficianados of the old westerns. Don’t let the one “bad apple” spoil it for the rest of us.
